FPS (max.)
Max possible frame rate
Shows
the max achievable frame rate for the current shutter. This is more or
less only a theoretical value because the real frame rate depends
on camera, bandwidth and so on. On triggered cameras (e.g. TIS
DMK*) the real frame rate will be determined by the fps setting.
If capture is started the current files size in MBytes will be shown.
FPS (curr.)
Current frame rate
The
current frame rate. In FireCapture this frame rate depends heavily on
computer power and the currently running pre-processing tasks. On
slower computers you may try using the Boost function (see Settings) for increasing frame rate.
Time / Buffer
Elapse time / Free buffers
Shows
the elapsed time in seconds since capture has been started or if you're
using the RAM buffer option the number of available free buffers.
Captured
Number of frames captures
Shows the number of frames captured since capture has been started.
Saved
Number of frames saved
Shows
the number of frames saved to disk since capture has been started.
Because saving runs in an own process this number may be out of sync
with the number of captured frames especially on slow computers. To avoid
running into out of memory you may tune performance like reducing preview framerate or increasing save thread priority
using the Settings dialog.
